Hi Everyone,

I've always wanted to visit Iceland and I will. I just have a couple questions. I'm a musician and I wanted to know more about the music. The most that I've been exposed to is of course Bjork, Sigur Ros and Quarashi. I love all kinds of music. I'm interested in Icelandic rock/heavy metal, hip-hop, jazz and traditional music. Are there any artists you can recommend for me to listen to?

Can you also recommend any Icelandic poets I should read? Are their works translated into English?
