When I was in Hofn this summer, I came across a handwritten note, tied to a rock with a piece of string. It was out on a walking trail near the water, not really near anything. I am wondering what it said. I took a photograph of it.

There's no reward or anything, but on the off chance it says something like "The treasure is buried under the third fencepost from the wall on the south side of Egill's farm in Akranes," you will have a better chance than anyone of getting there first.

Unless someone else read the note that day, as I left it untouched.
